The carbon math

Making a new smartphone emits roughly 80–85 kg of CO₂ equivalent, most of it during mining, refining, and chip fabrication. Using a refurbished phone instead displaces that emission almost entirely. Add in a year of avoided e-waste (roughly 170g of rare-earth-heavy material per phone) and the win compounds.

What we do in the shop

• Original parts first. We only swap to aftermarket when an original isn't feasible — and always mark it on the listing.
• Retailer-quality packaging without the excess. Recycled cardboard, recycled fill, no plastic blister.
• Battery health floor. Phones below 80% battery capacity get a replacement before listing, not sold as "low battery" by default.
• Local inspection. One facility, no international shuttling between refurbishers.
