Accessibility statement

2nd Phone Club wants everyone to be able to shop for a phone on 2ndphoneclub.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We check the site against these guidelines with automated tests and by hand, on computer and phone.

What we have done

Text and buttons have enough colour contrast to read easily, including on our coloured panels.
Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are, and a "Skip to main content" link.
Images have text descriptions, or are marked as decorative so screen readers skip them.
Each page has one main heading and a logical heading order; form fields have labels.
The moving video at the top of the home page has a pause button, and does not play by itself if your device is set to reduce motion.
Sideways-scrolling rows (videos, phones) can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard.
Buttons and links are large enough to tap, and the site works when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.

Known limitations

Our warehouse videos have captions on screen. If anything in a video is unclear, contact us and we will send a written description.
Checkout and card payment are provided by BigCommerce and PayPal. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not control their pages.

Tell us about a problem, or order another way

If anything on the site is hard to use, tell us and we will fix it. We can also take your order by text or phone and answer any question about a phone's condition, battery or grade.
