From arrival to your door
- Sourced. Phones come from carriers, insurers and business fleets.
- Tested. Each phone goes through our 32-point test on a diagnostic station, signed off by a technician. The results, including battery health and charge cycles, are saved against the phone's IMEI.
- Repaired. Anything that fails is repaired and tested again.
- Graded. A person grades how it looks: Premium (Excellent with battery health 90% or more), Excellent, Good or Fair. Value phones name their one issue in the grade, for example "No Face ID".
- Cleared. Every phone is free of iCloud and Activation Lock and unlocked, ready to set up with your own Apple Account. Every phone's IMEI is checked clean, with no outstanding finance or carrier balance, before we list it. In the unlikely event a phone we sold is ever blacklisted, we give a full refund.
- Shipped. Free US shipping. Orders before 2pm Pacific on a business day ship the same day.
The 32 checks
Every phone gets 32 checks in three groups: functional checks on our testing station, a cosmetic grading by a person, and a parts check. Models with a telephoto camera or Camera Control get those checked too; a part a model doesn't have, like the ultra wide camera on iPhone SE, is skipped.

A phone that fails a check is repaired and retested, or sold in the Value line with the issue named in its grade. Separately, every phone is checked for iCloud and Activation Lock, carrier lock and its IMEI (see Locks below).

Our battery standard
- Battery health is measured before the phone ships and shown on every listing as a band: 90%+, 85-90% or 80-85%. A phone below 80% says so in its name.
- Premium phones are always 90% or more.
- Batteries are original; if a battery needed replacing during refurbishment, it was replaced with a genuine one.
Parts
- Premium and Excellent phones have original screens and show no third-party-part messages.
- Value phones use aftermarket parts and name it in the grade, for example "Aftermarket message".
- You can see replaced parts yourself on recent iPhones in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History.

Locks
- Activation Lock: every phone is free of iCloud and Activation Lock.
- IMEI and blacklist: Every phone's IMEI is checked clean, with no outstanding finance or carrier balance, before we list it. In the unlikely event a phone we sold is ever blacklisted, we give a full refund.
- Carrier: every phone is unlocked and works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and the networks that run on them.

Warranty and returns
You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund, with free return shipping (a prepaid FedEx label) and no restocking fee. For 12 months from delivery, the warranty covers faults, including battery failure: we repair or replace the phone free. Accidental damage isn't covered. What happens if it breaks
