Short answer
Yes. Every refurbished iPhone we sell is unlocked, so it works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and the networks that run on them. iPhone 14 and later models made for the US use eSIM only (there's no SIM tray), so your carrier sets it up as an eSIM.

SIM card or eSIM?
iPhone 14 and later models bought in the US have no SIM tray and work with eSIM only. Older models take a SIM card and also support eSIM. Most carriers can move your number to eSIM in their app, in a store or by phone.

Can it lock later?
Not to the last owner. Every phone we sell is free of iCloud and Activation Lock and ready to set up with your own Apple Account. A phone can also be blocked by a carrier if its IMEI is reported lost or stolen. Every phone's IMEI is checked clean, with no outstanding finance or carrier balance, before we list it. Using it abroad
An unlocked iPhone can use local carriers and eSIM plans when you travel. Apple lists which 5G and LTE bands each model supports, and every iPhone model connects to 5G or LTE networks around the world. We ship within the US only.
